Dealer Connect · Product 01 of the Extrusia Software Suite
The dealer portal for window and door manufacturers: quotes you can actually build.
Dealer Connect puts your products, your configuration rules and your dealer pricing in your dealers' hands — on a laptop or a phone, at the customer's kitchen table. What they quote is what your plant can make, and what they order lands in your ERP without anybody retyping it.
Why a dealer portal, and why this one
Most window and door manufacturers sell through dealers, builders and contractors, and most of those orders still arrive as a PDF, an email or a phone call that somebody in the office keys in again. Every retype is a chance to order the wrong grid, the wrong glass or the wrong size — and the error is usually found at the saw or on the job site.
A generic CPQ tool fixes the retyping and creates a second problem: a second copy of your catalog and price book that drifts away from the one your plant builds from. Dealer Connect reads the same catalog, the same rules and the same prices as Extrusia ERP. There is no second book to keep in step.
- Your catalog, your rules — series, sizes, glass, grids, screens, colors and every option, with the same configuration rules your order desk uses.
- Your dealer pricing — each dealer sees their own price level, and can add their own selling price on top for their customer.
- Quote to order in one press — an accepted quote is submitted electronically and becomes an order in the ERP.
- Order status without the phone call — dealers follow their own jobs through your plant and see when they are ready to ship.
What your dealers can do
Built around how a window dealer actually sells: measure, configure, quote, revise, order, and then answer the homeowner's question "when will my windows be here?"
Configure windows and doors
Single units and mulled assemblies, shape tops and arches, custom oriel splits, grids and glass — validated against your rules as they go, so an impossible window is refused with a reason instead of discovered at the saw.
Professional quotes
Branded quotes their customer can read, with the dealer's own selling price. Dealers can save configurations they use often and reuse them on the next job.
Dealer-specific pricing
Price levels, multipliers and per-customer terms come from your price book. A dealer's own markup to their customer is theirs — Extrusia stores it for them and never uses it to price your sale.
Electronic ordering
A submitted quote arrives as an order with every option intact and a required date from your plant's real lead time — not a fixed "two weeks" that nobody believes.
Production and ready-to-ship status
Dealers see their own orders on your production schedule — waiting, cutting, in process, complete — and when each job is ready to pick up. Only their own orders, ever.
Photo-assisted sizing
Josie can read a photo of the window being replaced and suggest the type and an approximate size for a quick quote. An estimate is marked as one, and cannot be released to production until the opening is properly measured.
You stay in control of what dealers can sell
Dealer Connect is manufacturer-controlled. You decide which series each dealer can see, which options are offered, which sizes your plant will build and which combinations are refused. Change a rule or a price in Extrusia and every dealer quotes on the new one — there is no export, no upload and no "please use the March price list".
- One door per person. A dealer signs in to the portal and only the portal. They cannot wander into your ERP, your plant boards or another dealer's jobs — the access is enforced by the API, not hidden by a menu.
- Invitations, not shared passwords. Your sales team invites a dealer's staff by email; each person has their own sign-in, and you can remove access at any time.
- Measured before it's built. A photo or quick estimate is marked as one. It can price a quote, but it cannot release to production until the opening is measured.
- Any language. Each dealer can use the portal in their own language; numbers, codes and sizes are never translated.
How Dealer Connect fits the rest of Extrusia
Dealer Connect is one of three products sharing one operational database. The quote a dealer builds is priced by the same engine as Extrusia ERP, the order they submit explodes into the same bills of material and cut lists, and the status they see is read from the same scans your benches make. Leadership sees dealer activity in Extrusia Link, and anyone can ask Josie which dealers have quotes waiting.
Questions manufacturers ask about Dealer Connect
Do my dealers need to install anything?
No. Dealer Connect runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
Can each dealer have different pricing?
Yes. Each dealer account carries its own price level and terms from your Extrusia price book, and can add its own selling price for its customers on top. Your price to the dealer and the dealer's price to the homeowner are kept separate.
What happens when a dealer submits an order?
It becomes an order in Extrusia ERP with every option the dealer chose, priced by the same engine and dated from your plant's real lead time. Nobody re-enters it, and it can go straight onto a production batch once your team approves it.
Can we keep using our current dealer portal while we switch?
Yes. During a migration Extrusia can run beside your current system so dealers keep working, and you move them over once prices have been proven to match. See how migration works.
Can a dealer see another dealer's orders?
No. Every read a dealer makes is fenced to their own account by the API itself, including the production schedule and the ready-to-ship list.
