Extrusia ERP · Product 02 of the Extrusia Software Suite

ERP software built for window and door manufacturers — not bent into shape for them.

From the first quote to the last payment: product configuration and pricing, orders, bills of material and cut lists, the shop floor, glass, labels, shipping, invoicing and receivables. One system, written around how windows and doors are actually built.

Why generic ERP struggles in a window plant

A window is not a SKU. It is a series, a size to the sixteenth, a glass package, a grid pattern, a screen, a color, a set of rules about which of those go together — and from all of that, a bill of material, a cut list, a glass order and a set of stickers that have to agree with each other. General manufacturing ERPs treat that as customization. In Extrusia it is the data model.

So your team works with the words they already use — series, openings, mulls, lites, IG units, cut lists, carts, benches, remakes — and the system does the arithmetic a window plant needs, from centerline mull sizing to which lites must be tempered.

Sell: configuration, pricing and quoting

A configurator and price engine that reproduces your real prices — including the odd rules your current system grew over twenty years.

Window and door configurator

Series, openings, sizes, glass, grids, screens, colors and options, with rules that refuse impossible combinations in plain words. Mulled assemblies, shape tops and arches, custom oriel splits — drawn to scale as you go.

Price books and dealer levels

List prices, size books and united-inch pricing, price levels and multipliers, per-customer charges and discounts, promotions, rush charges and agreed allowances — integer cents, never rounding drift.

Rules that act, not just refuse

A lite too big for annealed glass is tempered automatically and priced that way, so the quote and the glass order can never disagree. A size the plant cannot build is refused before it is sold.

Quotes customers can sign

Quote PDFs and email from the rep's own name, online acceptance, deposits and card payments into your own Stripe account, and customer credits applied to the job they're for.

Large and phased projects

A 100-window job stays one order and one invoice, built on several carts of the size your floor can handle, with phases shipped to different addresses when the project needs it.

Dealers order directly

Orders from Dealer Connect arrive priced and complete, with a required date taken from the plant's real lead time.

Build: production and the shop floor

Every order explodes into exactly what the plant needs, and every bench shows exactly the work in front of it.

Bills of material and lookup charts

BOMs generated from the configuration with length formulas, conditions and lookup charts (balancers, reinforcement, hardware). A special order can read its own chart without cloning a series.

Cut lists and saw sequencing

Lineal cut lists to four decimals, optimized bars, longest-first sequencing for the saw, and TigerStop positioning through Machine Connect. Vinyl counted in sticks and feet.

Glass

Glass orders, sealed-unit labels, the glass bench and optimizer files — tempered and obscure units bought out automatically. See Glass Optimization.

Benches, routing and scanning

Production carts released to the floor, routed through your own work centers. Each bench has a kiosk screen and a scanner; every sticker scanned is a window accounted for.

Labels and paperwork

Tracking, welder, screen, sash, glass, shipping and NFRC certificate labels printed to Zebra printers at the right bench, plus cut sheets and batch packets — with the cart number on every sticker.

Remakes from any bench

Anyone who finds a defect scans the sticker, picks frame, sash, glass or screen, and the remake goes back to the bench that builds that part — counted on the quality board automatically.

Ship and get paid

Ready to ship

When the last bench you choose (QC, say) signs a job off, it moves to ready-to-ship and the customer can be emailed that their order is ready to collect — automatically, one email per order.

Shipping and routes

Manifests, named routes and drivers, load sheets, pickup sheets and delivery paperwork. A manifest locks before the truck is loaded, so the dock never works from a list that is still changing.

Invoicing and receivables

Invoices from the order, deposits, progress billing, credit and debit notes, statements that net the credit a customer holds, aging, collections by sales rep, and remittance advices read straight off the scan.

Service and warranty

Service tickets, warranty claims with who granted them and why, parts issued from stock, and every claim tied back to the original order and window.

Inventory and purchasing

Parts on hand in the units you count them in, reorder points, vendor groups and purchase orders — including electronic glass orders to your IG supplier.

Accounting connections

Full accounting in Extrusia, or invoices and payments pushed to QuickBooks Online on a date you choose.

A platform you can trust with the business

  • Your own database. Each customer runs in its own database, and the database itself keeps one company's data away from another's, not just the application code.
  • API-first. More than 1,000 documented API operations — every screen in Extrusia is a client of the same public API your integrations use, with signed webhooks.
  • Every change audited. Prices typed by hand, warranty granted, a step signed off without a scan — the system records who and when.
  • Reports you can arrange. Forty-plus documents and reports, printable to the right printer or emailed on a schedule, with your own column layouts.
  • An assistant that does the work. Josie answers questions about the live operation and, with permission, carries out tasks for you.
  • Your team's language. Each person chooses the language of their screens. Customer paperwork and shop paper can be printed in Spanish, French and other Western European languages.

Extrusia ERP — common questions

Is Extrusia ERP only for vinyl window manufacturers?

No. It is built for window and door manufacturing in general — the configurator, pricing, BOM and production model are the same whether you extrude vinyl, fabricate aluminum or assemble doors. Our launch plant builds vinyl windows.

Is it cloud software?

Yes. Extrusia runs in the browser, with a small shop-floor agent that connects benches to label printers, saws and the glass optimizer on your local network.

Can it match the prices our current system produces?

That is the point of our migration process: your recent real orders are repriced in Extrusia and compared line by line, and every difference is explained and settled before go-live. See how migration works.

Is every module included?

Yes. Extrusia is one suite with every module included: glass optimization, machine connectivity, CRM, logistics, full accounting and service among them. You switch each one on as your plant is ready for it.
