FeneVision alternative

Extrusia and FeneVision: two ways to run a window plant.

FeneVision, from Cyncly, is an established ERP for window, door and glass fabricators. Extrusia was built inside a working vinyl window plant in Kansas City, and it ships as one suite: the ERP, a dealer portal, live plant boards and an AI assistant. This page sets the two side by side, so you know what to ask either vendor.

FeneVision in brief

Cyncly describes FeneVision as an ERP for window, door and flat glass fabricators, sold as modules a manufacturer adds as it needs them. Its published modules cover product configurators (CAD, storefront, shower enclosure and bay-and-bow designers), CRM and a dealer ordering module (FeneVision WEB), purchasing and mobile inventory, capacity, work routing, production tracking, material optimization (FeneVision OPTI), machine interfaces, truck loading, rating agency labels, dashboards, and integrations to Microsoft Business Central and other accounting software. Its customers range from residential window makers to commercial storefront and flat glass fabricators.

If your plant fabricates shower doors or flat glass for other people, FeneVision is built for that work and Extrusia is not. Extrusia is for manufacturers who build windows and doors and sell them through dealers, builders and contractors.

Where the two differ

How it is soldA modular ERP: modules are chosen and added to the core. One suite. The ERP, Dealer Connect, Link and Josie come together, on one catalog and one set of prices.

Dealer orderingFeneVision WEB gives dealers and distributors the catalog to create quotes and orders; WEB Contractor extends it to their customers.Dealer Connect reads the plant's own book live, at each dealer's own pricing, and dealers follow each order through the plant, station by station.
Plant visibilityTracking, capacity and graphical dashboards.Extrusia Link: schedules, bench boards, ready-to-ship and collections, live on any screen or TV in the plant.
AIAsk Cyncly what AI it offers in FeneVision.Josie answers questions about your operation from your live data and, with a person's approval, does the work: a quote, a follow-up, a report.
Machines and labelsMachine interfaces, material optimization and rating agency labels, including NFRC.Machine Connect drives saws, welders, the glass optimizer and label printers from the order, and the NFRC certificate prints per window at QC.

If you are moving from FeneVision

A move to Extrusia runs the same way whichever system you are leaving. See how migration works.

  1. Read your own data. Your catalog, prices, customers and history are taken from your current system's data or exports, not retyped from price sheets.
  2. Prove the prices. Your recent real orders are repriced in Extrusia and compared line by line. Go-live waits until every difference is explained.
  3. Run in parallel. Both systems run side by side until you have watched them agree.
  4. Keep your history. Old quotes, orders, invoices and payments come across as a record on your old system's own figures. Nothing old is repriced on today's book.

A plant that made the move: EarthWise of Kansas City switched ERP systems in September 2026. Within four weeks it had cleared 272 late windows, and it now builds about 20% more windows a week with the same crew. Read the EarthWise case study.

FeneVision or Extrusia: common questions

Is Extrusia an alternative to FeneVision?

For window and door manufacturers who sell through dealers, builders and contractors, yes. Extrusia covers the configurator and pricing, orders, production, glass, labels, shipping and invoicing, with a dealer portal and plant dashboards in the same suite. For shower door or flat glass fabrication, FeneVision is the better fit.

Can we bring our FeneVision data into Extrusia?

Yes. Your catalog, prices, customers, open work and history are read from your current system's data or exports, and your prices are proven against your own recent orders before go-live.

Do we have to choose modules?

No. Extrusia is one suite: the ERP, Dealer Connect, Link and Josie are included together.

Does Extrusia have a dealer portal?

Yes. Dealer Connect lets dealers quote and order from a computer or a phone at their own pricing, and follow each order through the plant. It reads the same catalog and prices as the plant, so there is no second copy to keep in step.

Is Extrusia cloud software?

Yes. Extrusia runs in the cloud, and each customer has its own database.
